New Year na Malupet

Sabi nga nila better late than never kaya andito ako ngayon para bumalik sa blogging at magbigay ng update na ubod ng lupet.

Nagkasakit ako, not once but twice. Una before Christmas at pangalawa right after New Year before going back to work. Oh diba ang lupit ng timing? I had flu before 2008 closes and a severe abdominal pain few days after New Year’s Day. What a way to start the year! And on top of that my cousin’s family had to stay for a few days and they had to use my room so that mean’s no access to my PC. No access to my PC equals no blogging and internet.

Going back to me having abdominal pains – it started one Saturday, Monday came and I still have the pain so I decided to go to the doctor to have it checked. We went straight to the emergency room as I wasn’t able to walk anymore because of the pain. Nurses started to attend to me right away and I answered their questions between sobs. I was crying like a baby! Two doctors checked my condition and they had to give me medicine and put it straight to my veins for faster results. At ano ang ibig sabihin non? Karayom! Itutusok sa ugat ko na parang dextrose. Leche. Dalawang nurses ang dumating, isang babae na mukhang tahimik at mabait at isang lalaking malakas ang boses at mukhang epal. Pag banggit nya pa lang ng surname ko badtrip na ko agad sa kanya, actually I’m used to hearing people mispronounce my surname pero iba sya. May taglay syang ka-epalan na hindi ko maipaliwanag, basta hindi ko sya gusto. Sabi nga nila first impression lasts kaya nung sinabi nya na tutusukan na nya ako ng karayom kinalma ko ang sarili ko. Ayaw ko sa kanya but I want to give him the benefit of the doubt kaya panilit kong kumalma. After all he had 4 years of education and he’s wearing a uniform so that means he’s a registered nurse plus I was in a known hospital so I guess he knows what he’s doing and he’s going to do it right but boy was I wrong.

Hindi pwedeng buhay ko lang ang masira, dapat kayo rin

Mahaba ang byahe ko kaya hanga’t maari sinisigurado kong may mapaglilibangan ako sa sasakyan pamatay ng oras. iPod ang best friend ko sa byahe at minsan may partner pang libro. Pero nung isang araw kung bakit ba naman nalimutan kong uminom ng Sustagen Premium kaya umatake na naman ang memory gap ko, hindi ko tuloy na-charge si Poding at wala akong ibang choice kundi makinig sa usapan ng may usapan sa loob ng masikip na van. Pinilit kong libangin ang sarili ko sa panonood ng mga sasakyan at pagtulog.

Pero may mga tao talagang hindi ko alam kung papansin lang o talagang walang pakialam sa paligid. Yung pipiliting iparinig sa lahat ng pasahero ang kwento ng buhay nila o pipiliting maging involve ang ibang tao pati sa pakikipag-usap nila sa telepono. Yung iba naman kulang na lang basahin nila ng malakas lahat ng text na nare-receive at sine-send nila.

Have you ever think about what could people do for LOVE?

Funny things like listening to music they’re listening to, doing things they like to do, watching movies they like to watch, just to spend time with them. some do crazy things like stalking, trying to kill themselves, killing other people, etc. but I was never prepared to see one crazy deed right in front of my face.

I was in a bus on my way to work, minding my own world listening to the collection of music I most loved, when a college school girl step inside the bus and sat in front of me. I could actually see her back from where I was seated and saw her rummaging through her things. Since I don’t know her and have no plan of knowing her, I went back to my self-made world full of good music. Until I realized something is odd and I was feeling a little weird. Ramdam ko, may mali. Then I saw her again holding a picture of her (because I saw her face when she entered the bus) and some guy beside her. I assumed the guy is just her friend (and not a very close friend) since there was a big amount of space in between them. Though they were both smiling in the photo. I couldn’t explain why I didn’t gaze away from her, it was like I was waiting for something to happen.

And then the unthinkable. She kissed the guy in the picture with her eyes closed! It was a long heart-felt kiss. My eyes popped out and did a quiet laugh. She then putted the picture on her lap and stared at the bus’ ceiling for God knows how long. I can still remember the guy’s face sitting beside her when she “expressed her love” to the guy in the picture because he was the only one brave enough to laugh.

I really wanted to stand up and ask her, “miss, are you drugs?” sabay halakhak ng malakas. Oo na, masama na ko… eh ano naman ngayon?!

Oh, and in case you’re wondering I AM NOT IN LOVE.
